On Wednesday, 20th December 2023 Freemasons' Lodge Scoon & Perth, No3's members and visiting brethren attended the Lodge for the Lodge's annual St John's night meeting. It is the custom of the Lodge to hold a Memorial Service at the annual St John's night meeting, in honour of the brethren of the Lodge who have passed to the Grand Lodge Above since the last St John's night.
Three brethren have passed away this year, they are sorely missed by their brethren and friends but fondly remember them.
The Master and brethren very much appreciate the support of the Provincial Grand Master, who led a deputation of Office Bearer from the Provincial Grand Lodge to attend the St John's Night Memorial Service.
Following the close of the meeting the Lodge hosted a Christmas Carol Service, featuring a choir from Perth Amateur Operatic Society to which Masons, their family and friends had been cordially invited.
The Carol Service was followed by a finger buffet in the Lodge refectory.
